INSEAD PROJECT: JEWELRY X VACCINATION KITS

Currently working on an exciting project during my Study Abroad at INSEAD, Singapore. Looking forward to updating this project to my work page. In the mean time here is a teaser of the concept!

Donations Map

About 1.5 million children die each year from vaccine-preventable diseases.

My idea is a vaccination delivery kit. People are able to buy vaccine specific jewelry, sending kits to a person in need.

The way it works:

1. Buy a piece of jewelry, bracelets or rings. Price Range 100-1000

2. 25% the price of jewelry goes to donations. During Checkout choose what kind of vaccination kit you want to send, for example measles, pneumonia, or tuberculosis. Think toms 1 for 1 business model you buy the jewelry, to choose where to send the kit.

3. Once the kit is delivered and used you receive immediate feedback. The bracelet has haptic sensors and sends a one minute pulse of the heartbeat as the individual is being treated. That one minute heartbeat not only adds emotional value to the jewelry but most importantly lets you feel the impact you are making and the lives you touch.

Expanding not just to vaccination kits but to donations in general. Once jewelry is purchased customers can see what is going on in the world, whether it is an earthquake, tsunami, oil spill, or a virus outbreak customers will have the choice where their donations will go.
